The Saint Paul Pioneers would like to recognize Marla Collins for her dedication to the Pioneers organization. Marla has been a volunteer for the Pioneers for sixteen seasons. During her time with the Pioneers, Marla has served as the official team photographer and twelve years on the Pioneers Board of Directors, including four years as Board Vice President. Through her work on the board, Marla has been instrumental in the overall success of the team. Her work has included raising thousands of dollars through organizing fundraisers, managing game day volunteers, managing game day operations, attending and providing support for the Pioneers at away games, organizing and purchasing team concessions, supervising interns, and many other responsibilities that have ensured the continued success of the Pioneers. Marla does all this with unmatched patience, kindness, and passion for the Pioneers organization. The joy Marla brings to each Pioneers event has helped fuel the team's success and create a family atmosphere. Marla has created many lasting relationships with members of the Pioneers organization, including the players. Many of them call her mom.

The high standard of excellence that Marla has upheld for the Pioneers has had a lasting impact on Men’s Amatuer football across the Nation. Marla recently announced her retirement from the Pioneers Board of Directors after the 2023 season. This is her last home game. Marla, we can not thank you enough for your service to the Pioneers organization. You truly have made a lasting impact on so many players, coaches, volunteers, and staff members. At this time we would like to present Marla with a #12 jersey with her name on the back representing the twelve years of service on the Pioneers Board. Today we honor you Marla Collins! Thank you for all your work and dedication to the Pioneers, we will miss having you around, but you will always be part of the Pioneers organization.
