About Us

  • The Pioneers are a group of hard-working individuals who come together through sport and kinship to form a family. The Pioneers believe in hard work, integrity, dignity, community involvement, and representing St. Paul and its surrounding communities.

You may see a Pioneer during your everyday living in the Cities. We are Teachers, Financial Consultants, Welders, Police Officers, Writers, IT Personnel, Mail Carriers, Printers and much much more. We blend into the fabric of our community simply because we live in the community. We just love the game of football. We are compensated by the enjoyment of playing hard and building long-lasting relationships.

  • Your St. Paul Pioneers first took the field in 2002, playing most of its games at Augsburg College in Minneapolis. In 2004, we called St. Paul Highland Park HS our home. Under new ownership in 2005, the Pioneers changed its location to the Northern Suburbs where Mounds View HS set the scene as the home of the Pioneers. We have returned to St, Paul and play at Sea Foam Stadium at Concordia University.

  • We understand that many may not have heard of us in a saturated college and pro sports market. But we are among the best teams in Minnesota at ANY level. One of our goals this year and in years to come is to embrace the city of St. Paul like never before. And we believe the city will embrace us back. We will play our home games in St. Paul. Practice in St. Paul. Meet after practice and games at local St. Paul establishments with our Pioneers family (Friends, Family, Fans).

You will see us out there, running Football camps for the kids to painting houses. Let us know you support us as we support our city. When the lights go out and the field is empty, we don’t ride off into the sunset to million dollar houses. We’re parked on Marshall, or Lexington Ave, we’re shopping over at Sun Ray. We are where we need to be, where we want to be.

Where we ought to be. We are St. Paul!

  • The mission of St Paul Pioneers Football Club is to build and sustain a successful, adult amateur community football team that creates a safe, competitive environment in which men 18 years and older can play football. Our goals:

-To strengthen our relationship with the St. Paul community, which our football team serves, by giving back whenever possible through donations and volunteer time. As we continue to grow, we look forward to working with area schools, charities, and organizations through donations, volunteering, and increasing community awareness.

-To develop and maintain an environment of encouragement, discipline, respect, and pride.

-To provide the Twin Cities area with a low-cost, family-friendly source of fun and entertainment. The St. Paul Pioneers continually model and reinforce a professional atmosphere and attitude to ensure a positive experience for our fans and the community.
