Welcome to the web home of the NEW St. Paul Pioneers. We are very excited about being back in the St. Paul Community. Please bear with us as we are currently building our new website, so please make sure you stop back often for updates and announcements.
Who are the Pioneers?
The Pioneers are group of hard working individuals who come together through sport and kinship to form a family. The Pioneers believe in hard work, integrity, dignity, community involvement, and representing St. Paul and its surrounding communities.
You may see a Pioneer during your everyday living in this city. We are Teachers, Financial Consultants, Welders, Police Officers, Writers, IT Personel, Mail Carriers, Printers and much much more. We blend into the fabric of our community simply because we live in the community. We just love the game of football. We are compensated by the enjoyment of playing hard and building long-lasting relationships.
How long have the Pioneers been playing?
Your St. Paul Pioneers first took the field in 2002, playing most of its games at Augsburg College in Minneapolis. In 2004, we called St. Paul Highland Park HS our home. Under new ownership in 2005, the Pioneers changed its location to the Northern Suburbs where Mounds View HS set the scene as the home of the Pioneers.
Why have I never heard of the Pioneers?
Being away from St. Paul for three seasons, we understand that many may have forgotten the Pioneers still played. We have, and we've been winning. One of our goals this year and in years to come is to embrace the city of St. Paul like never before. And we believe the city will embrace us back. We will play our home games in St. Paul. Practice in St. Paul. Meet after practice and games at local St. Paul establishments with our Pioneers family (Friends, Family, Fans).
You will see us out there, running Football camps for the kids to painting houses. Let us know you support us as we support our city. When the lights go out and the field is empty, we don't ride off into the sunset to million dollar houses. We're parked on Marshall, or Lexington Ave, we're shopping over at Sun Ray. We are where we need to be, where we want to be.
Where we ought to be. We are St. Paul!!
